Italian-made ceramics have a rich and notable background, and as any mid-century enthusiast or collector may know, some of the most impressive work is from Bitossi. Distinguished by brightly colored glazes, iconic designs, and impeccable textures, these pieces are indeed works of art sought out by collectors worldwide. The Bitossi factory was established in 1921 by Guido Bitossi. In 1946 the art director Aldo Londi joined and helped transform Bitossi into a world distributor of distinctive ceramics, including the famous Rimini Blu line.

With the cooperation of known designers like Ettore Sottsass, Bitossi started a creative renaissance of modern ceramics that continues to inspire us. Whether you are an avid collector, a fan of fanciful animal figures, or searching for that one distinctive accessory, Bitossi allows you to re-think and appreciate these simple objects and the creative legacy of the artisans. We are proud to include the limited re-editions of some of the most significant ceramics made across 1950-1970 by Bitossi as part of our assortment.
